Another round of rain is on the way for this first full week of March. The rain no longer looks as steady and heavy as what it did earlier in the week but scattered showers are likely from Friday mid-morning through the evening hours.
Rain totals have also come down a touch but a soaking rain is still expected with a half to full inch of rain possible for most. Some hometowns might not quite reach the half inch mark but still a good amount of rain.
After the very likely rain for Friday with scattered showers throughout the day we could see a few lingering showers on Saturday and maybe even a few snow flurries. Sunday looks like a nice dry day.
Along with all of the rain for Friday we will see a decent breeze out of the northeast gusting to 20 mph. The wind will get even stronger Friday into Saturday and stays gusty Saturday and Sunday out of the northwest gusting to 30 mph.
The windy NW wind will keep temperatures cool for the weekend in the lower 40s both Saturday and Sunday. Clouds will slowly decrease Saturday but the sunshine returns Sunday.
