MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's been more than a year since a young man was killed in a Milwaukee park and his case is still unsolved.
Eighteen-year-old Winfred Jackson loved basketball and planned to join the Army.
All of that was cut short on March 17, 2020.
Milwaukee police got a ShotSpotter call that led them to Washington Park.
They followed a trail of blood that led them to a lagoon.
Jackson's body was floating in the water.
With no witnesses and only a few casings left behind, the case has gone cold.
If you have any information about who shot Jackson to death, you're asked to call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS.
Your call is always anonymous and you could get up to a $1,000 reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
