A few lingering showers end early this morning with skies becoming mostly sunny for the rest of the day. High temps reach the upper 60s lakeside and low 70s inland as a lake breeze likely develops this afternoon.

Clear and quiet tonight, but clouds roll back in on Saturday ahead of a cold front. Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop along the front late afternoon into early evening.

This will be a quick round of storms which will likely be below severe limits. That being said, a small area of southern Wisconsin is in a level 1 of 5, Marginal Risk, for a severe storm on Saturday.

Sunny skies return for the second half of the weekend, but temps will be a few degrees cooler with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Temps will generally be warmer away from the lake for the next several days as a light wind will allow a lake breeze to develop most days.
