MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Jenna Crawford from the Wisconsin Humane Society joined us in studio to promote their Foster a Cat initiative.
WHS is asking the Racine community to foster a cat, any cat! The Wisconsin Humane Society is making upgrades to our HVAC in their cat holding space at their Kenosha Campus next week to improve the air quality and climate control, which means they need to clear the room of about 40 kennels asap! Whether you can foster a cat directly from the Kenosha Campus, or from the Racine location to free up a cat kennel, they need your help.
Cats may be in need of foster to recuperate from an illness or injury in a home environment, for behavior observation, or simply for space, which is the case here. There are so many awesome cats who would love your temporary digs!
WHS provides everything you need to care for your foster during their time with you. The best bonus is that foster parents get first dibs on adoption if they end up falling in love!
To start the foster process, just visit our website www.wihumane.org. There’s a short online orientation video and application, and then we can get you all set up to foster an animal in need.
