Rain is beginning to taper off across southeast Wisconsin. As of 8pm, most of the area has picked up .25-.50" of rain with only another hundredth or two expected before the rain wraps up.
Rain will be replaced with very dense fog and mist which will continue throughout tonight and into Saturday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the whole area through 10am Saturday.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rain rolled back into southeast Wisconsin Thursday night and will continue off and on through most of Friday. As some steady rain rolled in Thursday night we finally saw the dense fog take a break. We saw 40 straight hours of dense fog with visibility a half mile or less that ended early Friday morning. Rain totals so far since Thursday range from 0.25-0.75" across most of southeast Wisconsin.
There will be pockets of steady rain here and there but scattered showers are likely at least through dinner time. We will keep in the rain chance through midnight. Another quarter inch of rain will be possible throughout the day on Friday with isolated locations to a half inch.
