MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On this National Weatherperson's Day, I've decided I'm taking full credit with this forecast. But I have to admit, the groundhog may have hit the nail on the head with what's coming our way. He said spring is coming early. And looking ahead this week, I think he's right. We're looking at 50 degrees by Wednesday and even milder still by the end of the week. We're even on record watch. The problem is the weather itself won't be very nice as temperatures warm. In fact we're looking at showers as soon as Thursday with an approaching storm system. Behind the front, we're a little cooler by the weekend. Highs then in the low 40s but still mild for this time of the year. A normal high is 32.
Also, in the meantime, fog is still possible the next few nights. It shouldn't be too prevalent though. But keep in mind, if temps are below freezing. We could see some freezing fog too.
A cool freezing fog shot from Monday morning. We want to see you pictures. [email protected] or via our cbs58 weather mobile app.
