Milwaukee lakeshore
Southeast Wisconsin was able to string together five straight awesome days of sunshine. From Wednesday to Sunday, February 19-23, we had either a completely sunny or mostly sunny sky. That stretch of beautiful weather was thanks to high pressure moving in, our fair weather friend. That cause us to ask the question, what is the record high pressure ever recorded in Milwaukee?
Milwaukee's record high pressure also happened in the month of February. Back in 1989 the pressure hit 1050.1 mb on February 16. For reference, an average high would have a pressure around 1020 mb and an average low would be around 1000 mb. Last Thursday, February 20 Milwaukee had a high pressure of 1041.5 mb which is comparatively high.
