MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Thank you, Mother Nature. If this forecast comes to fruition, the timing will be perfect for the eclipse viewing on Monday afternoon. But first, expect a 50/50 weekend. Sunny on Saturday, showery Sunday afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and a third of an inch for the most part. At least temperatures will be modifying as well as we get into this coming week. Highs during the weekend will be well in the 40s. How about 60s for the first part of the work week too?
Monday will highlight all the action in the sky, starting in the afternoon. The solar eclipse, 90 percent in totality here, will begin around 1 p.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. The peak time will be 2 p.m. Remember to wear your special eclipse glasses too.
