COLOMBIA (CBS 58) -- After more than 10 hours in court, the closing arguments of the trial against ex-Franklin resident John Poulos were again postponed Tuesday, April 30.

The judge granted the appeal requested by the defense, which will be evaluated by the appellate court.

This will determine whether or not the testimony of the victim's ex-boyfriend, not yet located and believed to be in Paris, will be included.

Until this issue is resolved, the closing arguments and the judge's ruling will remain on hold.

The trial, which accuses Poulos of aggravated murder and concealment of evidence, has experienced several delays since last year, and it was hoped that Tuesday's hearing would bring a definitive resolution.

No specific date was set for the next court appearance.
