MILWAUKE (CBS 58) -- After grabbing a few drinks with coworkers, a man ended up dead after being shot outside of his own home.
The shooting happened on Aug. 11, 2020, near 23rd and Rogers on Milwaukee's south side.
Delfino Gutierrez Alonzo got off work at his construction job and went to a co-worker's house to hang out.
After some drinks, Guitierrez Alonzo drove his green Dodge Dakota pickup truck home. Around 10:45 p.m., while sitting in his car, someone fired more than a dozen shots into the driver's side window. He was shot multiple times and died.
Milwaukee police say this case is turning cold and they need someone to come forward to help them solve it.
"When you think about more than a dozen shots being fired at a person, seated in their car in front of their home, that could be anyone -- honestly. And when you think about the person that did this not being caught, what that means is the person capable of doing something this violent is still walking the streets. They are still in our community and that's a little unsettling," said Det. Timothy Keller, Milwaukee Police Department.
