MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee mail carriers will collect non-perishable food donations for the Hunger Task Force on Saturday, May 11.
Matt King of Hunger Task Force joined us on Tuesday, May 7 to chat about the program's impact on local food banks.
The annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, launched by the National Association of Letter Carriers in 1993, is the nation’s largest one-day food drive. Residents can participate by placing donations near their mailboxes, and carriers will gather them while on their routes.
