Well here we are. April 1st... that saying April flowers bring May showers... does that include snow showers too? That's what is on the way. It's raining this Monday late day. A trend that will continue overnight. Then, Tuesday starts as rain, but a mix may already occur by late morning for our northern spots. Then the rain to snow switch happens in the Milwaukee metro around and just after the main rush home. Snow then looks to continue through the night and throughout Wednesday. Just to add one more prank to the mix, flurries look to linger Thursday!
Let's start with the rain. A solid inch to inch and a half looking likely through the next 24 hours.
Then we add the wet snow to the mix. Here's what you can expect for wet snow, in your hometown: In addition to the snow, strong north wind is in place running about 15-30mph. Gust could be up to 40mph. While it is a wet snow which will limit blowing and drifting, visibility will be low under snow showers. Keep with the Ready Weather Team for updated to totals over the next 48 hours.
