Active weather following a quiet weekend with two days of storms...
Friday night into Saturday morning was wet with some moderate and even heavy at times steady rain. That rain dropped anywhere from a tenth of an inch of rain in our northern counties to over a half inch in some other areas.
As rain wraps up for everyone by mid-morning Saturday the rest of the day looks pretty dry. We could even see some peeks of sunshine Saturday afternoon and early evening before sunset.
But the next round of rain arrives quickly. After a little over 24 hours of dry time the next chance for rain arrives Easter Sunday. A few showers will be possible Sunday afternoon but better rain chances start Sunday evening through Monday morning.
This second round of rain looks similar for rain totals to the first round we had Friday night into Saturday with around a quarter inch in northern counties and over half an inch in some other hometowns.
Sunday's rain chance will linger into Monday morning then the heart of the day on Monday looks dry with third round of rain arriving Monday evening through Tuesday.
When it comes to Easter plans expect a dry start and maybe a peek of sunshine in the morning for the morning church services. Even Easter brunches look dry with temps in the 40s. However the afternoon egg hunts could be a little wet, but the better chance for rain doesn't arrive until the evening and Sunday night.
