MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite the ebbs and flows of the outdoor temperatures in the Milwaukee area this month, there are some events scheduled in the area this weekend that will be taking place regardless of whether the area feels a cold snap or a springtime breeze.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will kick off the festivities with its official Mama Tried show on Thursday, Feb. 22, offering an opportunity to mingle with racers, builders and fans. The event will feature minibike races, a DJ and a special exhibit, with the museum extending its hours until 8 p.m.
Baconfest is slated to take over the Potawatomi Casino Hotel on Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. The goal of Baconfest is to offer an indulgence in bacon-themed delights, from varieties of mac and cheese to brats.
The Marcus Performing Arts Center is continuing its presentation of "Mamma Mia!" through Sunday, showcasing the story set on a Greek island, underscored by the timeless music of legendary Swedish pop group ABBA.
Amorphic Beer will host Beer at the Bank: A Beer City Brew Fest on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., offering unlimited pours from local breweries and a look at Milwaukee's brewing history, all within a historic bank setting.
