CALEDONIA, WI (CBS 58) - Have you ever played laser tag with the undead? If not, Bear Paw Adventure Park in Caledonia can make it happen.
Staff created a new concept of 'Zombie Laser Tag' during spooky season at the Racine County community staple.
The game is more complex than you'd expect.
Bear Paw Adventure Park crews came up with the idea to combine an escape room and laser tag into one. CBS 58's Alex Corradetti went through the maze to see what the experience is like.
First, the staff gets ready. It was fascinating to see the extensive work that goes into the crew makeup. They were able to turn once friendly faces into faces filled with unsettling scars and ghastly wounds.
The crew then heads out into the cornfield and prepares for battle. It's a fun experience that will make you think and scare you a little bit.
The whole plot is to save a human turned zombie named Alex from the maze. Along the way, you have to solve puzzles and lookout for the zombies. The whole time, you're wearing headphones that play music and voice the game.
Once you get the final gate code, it's time to run.
The last zombie laser tag of the season was on Oct. 28, 2023.
