Eric Levy, Anchor & Reporter

I could tell you how happy I am to be here in Milwaukee, but it would take more room than I’m allowed here. Just trust me when I say I do love it here. I’ve lived in Connecticut (that’s home) Iowa, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, Indiana and now Wisconsin. I started my career in radio as a traffic reporter, before moving in to news.

On my first day as a news reporter, I woke up very nervous about covering the Connecticut election primaries, on September 11th, 2001. That’s right! My first story ever as a reporter was covering the 9/11 terror attacks. I went to the train station in New Haven, CT and interviewed people fleeing New York City. They were telling me about the chaos, the terror and their first-hand accounts of running from the crumbling towers. Some people were covered in blood, others covered in ash. It was a day I will never forget. From there, I knew reporting the news was my calling.

After spending a number of years in radio, I followed my dreams of being a TV news reporter then an anchor. When you watch me on the anchor desk on CBS 58 weekends, you’ll see my excitement and enthusiasm. That’s because this is my dream. And in return for reading this really long bio, I offer you this advice…follow your dreams and never give up.
