Deputy shoots inmate after attack
WAUKESHA -- Officers say an officer was involved in a shooting Friday afternoon at Wauksha Memorial Hospital.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's department says a deputy shot an inmate he was escorting to the hospital for treatment after that inmate got hold of an edged weapon and attacked the deputy.

The hospital was placed on temporary lock down while police got the situation under control and say there is no longer any danger.
