Local soldier wounded in Fort Hood shooting
A local soldier wounded in the shootings at Fort Hood is on the road to recovery.

19-year old Amber Bahr from Random Lake is being praised for her efforts to help others before herself.

Bahr was shot in the back during the ordea, but a military spokesman says she helped other injured soldiers before tending to her own wounds.

Bahr was shot in the back during the ordeal, but her mother things she will be released from the hospital in the next couple of days.
