Opening weekend is here for Slinger Speedway
About a hundred Penfield Montessori Academy students now have a new winter coat to put in their closets thanks to the generosity of the Milwaukee Fire Department. This morning, firefighters distributed the winter wear to the lucky kids, ages 3 to 6, as part of the “Warm up Winter” campaign. This is the sixth year for the distribution. In all 30 thousand coats have been handed out to those less fortunate.
If your school wants to get involved in the “Warm up Winter” program for next year than call 414-286-8970. Also, click here if you want to make a monetary donation to the cause.
