18th annual east side Summer Soulstice Music Festival happening June 23

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Organizers are gearing up for the 18th annual Summer Soulstice Music Festival happening Saturday, June 23, from noon until midnight. The hyper-local neighborhood music festival is a celebration of the music, art, and activities that make Milwaukee awesome.

“The East Side proudly serves a diverse mix of Milwaukee – families, young professionals, students, empty nesters and so many more,” says Kristin Godfrey, Executive Director of the East Side BID. “This year’s Summer Soulstice Music Festival will feature a diverse mix of fun and entertainment, ensuring we have great entertainment options for our neighbors and all our guests – and that every element reflects the unique creativity of the East Side. I am beyond excited to enjoy all of these activities myself.”

The festival happens on numerous streets from Oakland to Prospect on North Avenue as well as on Cramer, Murray, and Farwell. Visitors can find fun starting early in the day and lasting all the way through midnight.
