4 PM Storm Update

Scattered showers and storms are still expected to develop across our area between 7 pm and 12 am.  While our temperatures have spiked into the 80s, the greatest ingredients for severe weather look to remain across southwestern Wisconsin early this evening.

There is a good chance that a severe thunderstorm watch will be issued for that area.  Closer to home storms will weaken as they move east.  Small hail and gusty winds are possible; however, widespread severe weather isn't expected.

Rain that comes through could range from a quarter of an inch to an inch.  Locally heavier rain is possible under thunderstorms.
