40-year-old man hurt in N. 56th Street shooting, no suspects in custody

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are trying to find out who is responsible for an early morning shooting on Milwaukee's north side. 

According to investigators, a 40-year-old man was shot around 2:00 a.m. Monday in the area of N. 56th Street, south of W. Hampton Avenue. The man was taken to a local hospital.  

The shooting is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police.
