43-year-old man dies after being pulled from the KK River

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a death that happened in the Kinnickinnic River around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Police and fire reported to the area near South Chase and South Water Street for two people who were in the water. A 43-year-old man and 36-year-old man were pulled from the water. The 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 36-year-old was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police are investigating the death but it does not appear to be suspicious.
