Advocate Aurora Health planning to build new hospital, clinics in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Advocate Aurora Health announced plans Thursday to build a hospital, two clinics, and a medical office building on 96 acres at the northeast corner of I-94 and Highway 20.

Construction is scheduled to start in late 2018 with openings in 2021.

The announcement calls Racine County one of the fastest growing areas in Wisconsin.

It's one of the first big projects announced since Aurora Healthcare's recent merger with Illinois-based Advocate Health Care.
