MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two women are under arrest after a seven-week-old baby was found dead at a home known as a daycare facility on the north side of Milwaukee.
Savaiyah Reid suffered blunt force trauma injuries and her death is now considered a homicide, police said on Tuesday. She was found at a home near 78th and Villard. A 37-year-old woman and a 17-year-old woman were arrested.
Neighbors told CBS 58 the duplex is known as a daycare center.
"I see kids coming in and out, you know, it's a good place," said Eldra Gibson, who lives next door.
"We speak every time we see each other," he said. "I'm surprised. They're good people."
The daycare is listed online as 'Who's Luvin' You Daycare.' We called the phone number listed for the business. A woman answered and then hung up on us.
