Baraboo woman comes home to find unknown man impersonating FBI agent, sheriff says

TOWN OF BARABOO, Wis. (WISC) -- A man impersonated an FBI agent as he robbed a woman in Baraboo, according to a release from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office.

A woman called 911 when she came home to an unknown man claiming to be an FBI agent. She fled the residence and called authorities to her home on STH 136 around 4:23 p.m., according to the release.

Brandon D. Hughes, 31, of Baraboo, is facing charges of burglary and impersonating an officer, officials said. He was taken into custody inside the the woman's home.
