Beaver Dam man turns himself in after hit-and-run that seriously injured pedestrian

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver in a hit-and-run that happened Monday evening around 7:15 on County Highway I near State Highway 33 in Oak Grove.

Officials said a 32-year-old man from Reeseville was hit by a car driving south on Highway I. The man was found in a ditch by another driver and taken to the hospital in Beaver Dam before being taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.

Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday the Sheriff's Office identified the driver as 41-year-old Beaver Dam man Colin Biel. Biel turned himself in after reading the Sheriff's Office press release. He was arrested and charged with hit-and-run causing injury.
