Brewers back in Milwaukee for Independence Day homestand

The Brewers return home just in time to celebrate Independence Day with their seventh homestand of the season. The stand begins against the Miami Marlins with the first of three contests Friday at 7:10 PM and finishes with the Crew welcoming the Baltimore Orioles to Miller Park for a three-game set starting Monday, July 3. Highlights of the homestand include 5-County Friday, Cerveceros Day and a Zach Davies Stars and Stripes All Fan Bobblehead giveaway.

Brewers Community Foundation will be collecting peanut butter throughout the entire homestand. Fans can donate or make a $5 contribution and receive a collectible Hernan Perez pin. Items for the Drive for Charity will be accepted from the time of gates opening through the second inning at various Field Level concourse locations. Cerveceros Day – The Brewers will wear special Cerveceros uniforms honoring Hispanic Heritage in baseball as they square off against the Miami Marlins in the 12th-annual Cerveceros Day sponsored by Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. Fans who purchased the sold-out special Theme Night Cerveceros ticket package will receive a one-of-a-kind Cerveceros Tailgate Chair.

Brewers Wall Flag – The first 10,000 fans 21 and older will receive a Brewers Wall Flag, courtesy of Miller Lite.

Sunday, July 2 vs. Miami – 1:10 PM

Zach Davies Stars and Stripes Bobblehead – All fans in attendance will receive a Bobblehead of Brewers pitcher Zach Davies, courtesy of Klement’s Sausage. The Bobble will feature the Brewers starter wearing a stars and stripes jersey, the same uniform that the team will don on July 4.

Helfaer Sunday – Before all Sunday home games, kids can play catch on Helfaer Field thanks to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Kids Base Run – Kids 16-and-under can run the bases after Sunday home games.

Kids Eat Free Sunday – Every Sunday home game, all kids 14 and under will receive a lunch voucher good for a free hot dog, bottled water, applesauce and ice cream treat, courtesy of Pick ‘n Save and Blue Bunny.

RBI Athlete of the Month – Each month, an RBI (Reviving Baseball in the Inner cities) athlete will be recognized for their dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, reliability and monthly performance. On July 5, an RBI player will be recognized as July’s RBI Athlete of the Month and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Community Achievers presented by Meijer - The Milwaukee Brewers community involvement initiative, known as the “Community Achievers Award presented by Meijer,” recognizes residents throughout the state of Wisconsin each month during the season for displaying extraordinary efforts in their community.

On Wednesday, Matthew Fizell will be recognized as July’s Community Achiever. He will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.

bp C’mon Back Club Card – Fans making seven purchases of eight gallons of gas or more at participating bp stations can receive a free Terrace Reserved ticket by completing a bp C’mon Back Card.
