MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --The Brewers are inviting fans to come out to the Hot Corner Wednesday morning to help send Jesús Aguilar to the All-Star Game.
From 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. Jesús is treating fans to a “sinful” ice cream breakfast. Jesús also bought 1,000 tickets to the July 24 game vs. Washington. The first 500 fans on hand will receive free ice cream, plus two Loge level tickets to the game.
“I know there are a lot of fans supporting me in this campaign, and I want everyone to know how grateful I am for the efforts,” Jesús said. “I can’t be in Milwaukee tomorrow, but I can give a little something back. This is just a small sign of my appreciation.”
The Crew is also giving away t-shirts, bobbleheads, and other giveaways to fans who come and support the cause.
The Brewers have been helping get the word out to vote with a doughnut giveaway at Holey Moley Coffee and Doughnuts Tuesday and a polling station at Anodyne Coffee in Walker’s Point on Monday.
Around noon on Tuesday, news came out that Jesús Aguilar is leading the National League in voting for the Camping World All-Star Final Vote. Fans can help send Aguilar to his first career All-Star Game by voting online at Brewers.com/Vote. There is NO LIMIT on the number of times that fans can vote before polling ends Wednesday, July 11 at 3 p.m. CT.
