Brown Deer police arrest 14-year-old after attempted carjacking outside of Aldi's

The Brown Deer Police Department has arrested a 14-year-old from Milwaukee after an attempted carjacking.

The victim, a 53-year-old female from Brown Deer, called the police to report that the teenager attempted to take her keys and steal her car outside of Aldi's located at 6720 W Brown Deer Road.

The incident happened on Friday.

Officers were able to locate the suspect in the 9200 block of N 70th Street where he was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
