Cooking in The Kitchen at George Webb

At George Webb, they have a saying.  They're always cooking in the kitchen.  And they certainly are.  This diner is always open.  24-7.  This Wisconsin institution of sorts got its start in Milwaukee, and it's been around almost 70 years.

I thought it would be a neat idea to see how they operate so early in the morning, so I stopped by first thing today on The CBS58 Morning News at the Forest Home location in Milwaukee. I got to see pancakes, scramblers, and healthy omelets being made in action.  And of course their famous burgers.

George Webb's chili has a tasty reputation as well.  And as I found out, pasta is used, not really beans.
