Dog found decapitated in northwest Indiana

VALPARAISO, Ind. (CBS 58) -- Police in Valparaiso are investigating the theft and death of a dog.
The dog described as a white and red male pit bull named Dudley was reportedly taken from a house around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening
On Thursday afternoon the dog’s owner told police she found her dog decapitated behind her house near a set of railroad tracks.
Police are investigating the incident and do not believe that it was a random occurrence.
