Early Morning Shooting Investigation Shuts Down Busy Intersection

An investigation into a shooting closed down a busy section of Fond du Lac Avenue in Milwaukee for a time early Monday morning.
Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 4:10 AM. near the corner of Fond du Lac and North Avenues. A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was shot by a suspect inside a passing vehicle.. The victim was driving his own vehicle at the time of the shooting. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Milwaukee Police Department continues to seek a motive and search for suspects in the incident.
