Flight for Life called after 17-year-old misses stop sign in Fond du Lac County

A Saturday afternoon accident left a 17-year-old with serious injuries in Fond du Lac County. Authorities say the teen failed to stop at a stop sign.

The accident occurred at the intersection of County Highway F and County Highway W in the township of Osceola. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle being driven by the 17-year-old male from the Campbellsport area was traveling eastbound on County Highway F and failed to stop at a stop sign.

After missing the stop sign, the 17-year-old's vehicle was struck by a heavy truck traveling south on County Highway W. The truck was being operated by a 65-year-old man from the Campbellsport area. 

The man in the truck received minor injuries, but the teen was transported from the scene by a Flight for Life Helicopter with serious injuries.
