Giannis leads All-Star game voting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made his NBA All-Star Game debut last season, is the leading vote-getter in the first fan returns of NBA All-Star Voting 2018. Antetokounmpo received 863,416 votes to edge out the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James (856,080) by 7,336 votes for the top spot in the NBA.

Fan voting for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game concludes on Monday, January 15.

The All-Star Game starters, including two captains who will select this year’s teams, will be announced on Thursday, January 18.

The 67th NBA All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, February 18.

A Giannis bobblehead will be the fan giveaway for Friday night's game against the Raptors. The first 5,000 fans through the doors of the BMO Harris Bradley Center will receive a Giannis Antetokounmpo Starting Lineup Figure.
