Bon Jovi closed down the BMO Harris Bradley Center with a sold out show Sunday night. The hall of fame rock band also played the first sold-out show at the Bradley Center to close out the first season there.
What was it like at that first show?
Glad you asked!
Thanks to local Bon Jovi super fan John Milazzo, we have a picture of the ticket stubs from that first show on April 1, 1989. John's tickets were in section 202 which cost him just $19. Tickets for the same seats Sunday night cost $149.50 plus fees.
The band's hair was also much different but a lot of the music was back again.
By 1989, Bon Jovi had already released Livin' on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive, You Give Love a Bad Name, Runaway, Bad Medicine and Lay Your Hands on Me, all of which they played on Sunday.
