GLENDALE (CBS 58) -- A garage fire in Glendale caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage and destroyed four cars.

The fire happened near Silver Spring and Milwaukee River Parkway around 8:00 Wednesday night. Firefighters were able to get it under control pretty quickly, however the home and garage next to where the fire started were also damaged to an amount of $30,000.

Power lines in the neighborhood sparked during the fire and were damaged. Crews with WE Energies had to come in and make sure it was safe for firefighters and shut off the power for a small portion of the neighborhood.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started, but do not believe it is suspicious. No one was hurt in the fire.

The damage to the garage is estimated at $800,000.
