Members of Governor Scott Walker's Cabinet are working to help in flood relief efforts.
Thursday morning, cabinet members from several departments met at the Walworth County Government Building for a round table meeting with community leaders across the county.
It's one of three stops in Southeastern Wisconsin.
The state is looking at the disaster in three steps. The first is the initial response, followed by short term recovery, and then long term recovery. They say we are currently in the second phase, and assessing what damages have been done and how to best deal them.
Each cabinet member gave an update as to how their department is responding.
But it was also a chance for local leaders to express concerns that may be over looked.
Cabinet members say they will take that information and find ways to deal with those concerns.
The cabinet members had round tables scheduled for Racine and Kenosha Counties as well.
They also toured of some of the areas hardest hit by the flooding.
