Governor Walker comments on election one week later

(CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is breaking his silence about the results of the midterm election, about a week after losing the gubernatorial race to Tony Evers.

He posted a message on social media Wednesday morning saying in part, "The media wants to know why I haven't spoke with them in a week. The answer is simple: the decent thing to do is to let Governor-elect Tony Evers have his time to talk about his transition."

Walker goes on to say "at some point in the future I will talk to the press, but it is only decent to let Governor-elect Evers have a week without me filling the airwaves."
