Grand opening held for Ariens Hill in the Titletown District

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) - Thursday marks the official first day of the winter season, and also the long-awaited opening for the Ariens Tubing Hill in the Titletown District.

Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy spoke at the grand opening, along with community leaders and representatives from Ariens.

After the ribbon cutting, kids were some of the first to slide down the 300-foot run.

Riders have to be at least four years old and 42 inches tall.

Rental tubes are available and are provided at no cost - however - all riders must purchase a tubing ticket to slide down the hill.

Tickets cost $3 during the Grand Opening period, and will increase to $5 eventually.
