HAWS celebrating 3,600 pet adoptions in 2018

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- HAWS, the Humane Society of Waukesha County, is reflecting on all of their success in 2018.

HAWS found new forever homes for 3,600 pets.

More than 6,200 pets recieved medical care from HAWS from routine spays and neuters to life-saving procedures.

There were 1,020 dogs that graduated from HAWS training classes.

HAWS' team answered 1,800 animal rescue calls.

HAWS' foster caregivers ensured 1,100 pets got extra TLC before being adopted.

Almost 10,000 people of all ages participated in HAWS education programs.
