Human remains found in Racine County identified as missing woman Audrey Scott

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police have identified a person found dead in Racine County on Wednesday, August 30. The remains were found Wednesday morning near Yorkville on S. Sylvania Avenue just north of County Highway KR.
The woman is 28-year-old Audrey Scott.
Scott went missing on July 4 and was last seen at McGillicuddy's near N Water Street and Juneau Avenue. A $5,000 reward was offered by her family for her return.
Milwaukee Police say the death is being investigated as a homicide. There are several persons of interest in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office conducted the autopsy.
