Keep dreaming of a white Christmas

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--As it stands now, the chance for a white Christmas isn't looking great.  Although we could see some scattered snow showers, mainly in the morning.  One reliable computer model, the Euro, has most of the moisture south.

Meantime, today, look for periods of light rain, especially this morning.  Rainfall amounts should be below a tenth of an inch for the most part.

There will be some foggy issues as well.  With colder air this evening, behind a cold front, we could see some light wintry mix during the evening.

It's looking dry this weekend leading up to the big holiday.  Expect highs in the low to mid 30s with lows in the 20s.  Again, the next chance of precipitation looks to be Christmas morning in the form of snow showers. Later in the week, much colder air arrives just in time to wrap up 2018.  Expect highs by next Saturday in the 20s.

Stay tuned to CBS 58 as we get closer to Christmas to see if the forecast will change.  Of course, our free Ready Weather app is a great tool as well.
