Lakefront Can't Escape The Whipping Winds

No place is immune from the wind, including the lakefront.  I spend about a half hour in front of Discovery World and noticed the rather risk conditions right away.  I saw downed barricades.  The wind turbines were in constant motion as well as the wind leaves.  The Calatrava wings at the Milwaukee Museum, meantime, were closed  because winds were at least 23 mph.

The waves weren't overly impressive because we didn't have onshore winds.  They are out of the southwest.  But I did observe some impressive swells by the shoreline.

Hopefully, the conditions will improve by the evening.
