Local radio station to play same Violent Femmes song for 90 minutes straight during eclipse

Starting at 11:53 a.m., Milwaukee radio station 102.9 THE HOG will play Milwaukee band The Violent Femmes' song "Blister in the Sun," and they won't stop until Milwaukee reaches total darkness, about 90 minutes later.

Listeners who are able to handle the same song for that long could be rewarded. The listener who correctly identifies the exact number of times the song was played and calls the station will win a prize of $1,000.
