Madison Police: Two teens arrested after 12-year-old boy shot with BB gun

MADISON, Wis. - (WISC) Two teenagers were arrested after a 12-year-old boy was shot in the back with a BB gun.

According to an incident report, the Madison Police Department responded to a call on Worthington Avenue Sunday night around 6 p.m., and a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were arrested.

The victim was shot in the back with a BB gun and robbed of his cellphone after a confrontation with the two suspects. According to police, all three boys know each other, and the victim did got his cellphone back.

The 14-year-old boy was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center. The tentative charges are armed robbery and second-degree reckless endangerment. The 13-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being party to the crime of armed robbery.
