Major Cool Down on the Way!!!

It was a very active day around the U.S. and the Badger State with several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms yesterday. 300+ storm reports were reported; a bulk of those took place in Wisconsin, but no tornadoes were reported to touchdown. There was one tornado warning in Walworth County last night.

Big changes are forecasted to move into our area for week’s end. Low pressure and a cold front will send temperatures back to an early spring feel. The high was 87 degrees Tuesday, 84 yesterday, and possibly upper 40s and lower 50s for Friday. A cool NE wind off the lake and chilly air being ushered in behind the front, expect one of the cooler days this May.

Warmer air will start to slice in by the weekend; don’t expect sunshine or a great start to the weekend.
