Man arrested for OWI on 94 with open beer cans in the car

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Tuesday afternoon at 12:52 p.m. 33-year-old Ixonia man Adam James Patterson was arrested by State Patrol for his 4th offense OWI. 

The trooper saw a car matching the description of a wanted vehicle for a domestic situation out of Jefferson County driving east I-94 at Moorland Road. The Trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the car did not stop.

After  a short pursuit, the driver was taken into custody and open beer cans were found in the car.

Patterson was taken to Waukesha State Patrol Headquarters to conduct Standard Field Sobriety Tests and placed under arrest for OWI 4th offense. The driver was taken to a local hospital for a legal blood draw and then booked into the Waukesha County jail.
