West Bend Police: Man arrested twice in same night for OWI

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man is arrested twice in four hours for drunk driving, according to the West Bend Police Department. 

Police say an officer stopped a vehicle around 5:45 Thursday evening in the area of Barton Avenue and North Main Street. Police say a 26-year-old South Milwaukee man failed field sobriety tests and blew a .12 into a PBT and was arrested for OWI-2nd offense and operating a vehicle with a revoked driver's license. The man was released to a friend at 8:30 p.m. 

A little while later at 9:15, the same man was stopped for speeding southbound on Highway 45 in West Bend. The 26-year-old was stopped at Highway 45 and W. Paradise Drive where police say he again failed field sobriety tests and blew a .092 into a PBT. He was again arrested for OWI-2nd offense and driving with a revoked driver's license. 

Police say the man was taken to the Washington County Jail.
