Man shot during suspected robbery, victim sustains serious injury

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near N. Teutonia Ave. and W. Keefe Ave. around 10 p.m. Thursday night. 

According to police, a 31-year-old male was approached by an unknown suspect who then shot the victim. Investigators believe a robbery may have been what led up to the shooting. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a serious injury. 

Police continue to investigate and search for the suspect.
